Advice

[edit]

I was reviewing the article Mogo and what sources might exist. I saw the previous AFD that closed as no consensus and I was doubting that this passed WP:SIGCOV. The problem isn't just the current state of the article. The coverage found, even assuming most of it is good, would leave the article mainly supported by one source. But you have already been down this road and I wanted to hear your analysis. Jontesta (talk) 00:49, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jontesta Well, we can see what happens at another AfD. At the moment I don't have time to look into this - would be good to check the level of coverage in cited academic work Dryden (2022). Is it SIGCOV meeting? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:38, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Nazi crimes against children

[edit]

On 20 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nazi crimes against children, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in addition to millions murdered, Nazi crimes against children included compulsory sterilization, forced labor, forced institutionalization, medical experiments and Germanisation? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nazi crimes against children. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nazi crimes against children), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

DYK for Planting a Rainbow

[edit]

On 23 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Planting a Rainbow, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Planting a Rainbow has been praised for both its "deft use of colors" and the educational identification of seeds, bulbs, sprouts, and blossoms? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Planting a Rainbow. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Planting a Rainbow), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. DYK for Retelling

[edit]

Hi Piotrus,

A few weeks ago, I conducted a DYK review on your submission for the page Retelling. I noticed that, on December 9, it was removed from a queue, as another editor had some substantial concerns regarding both the hook and the article as a whole. A link to their discussion can be found at the DYK submission for the article. I just wanted to reach out and let you know about this, as I was not pinged and only just found out about this, and I assume the same is true for you. Please keep me informed about any future edits you make with the article and the hook and I'll happily proceed with the DYK review process in whatever way I can. Thanks, -JJonahJackalope (talk) 14:12, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
